View photos and exhibits on Loomis Basin pioneers, vintage clothing, household items, and life on the fruit ranch. Watch a video featuring historical footage of fruit packing in the 1930s. See a special display on Japanese American families, presented by the Still Standing Guard Committee. Find your own family’s history in the genealogy book collection with help from the Placer County Genealogical Society. Heritage Trail in Loomis is hosted by the Loomis Basin Historical Society.

LBHS worked with the Loomis Basin Chamber of Commerce to create the Loomis Legacy Loop walking tour.
LBHS retells stories of our past with Throwback Thursday, published each week on Facebook by the Loomis Library & Community Learning Center.
LBHS is a stop on the Heritage Trail each summer with a unique "pop-up museum," presented in cooperation with the Placer County Department of Museums.
LBHS provides a local history reference collection at the Loomis Library, in partnership with the Placer County Genealogical Society.
LBHS soon will begin digitizing historical documents and records. Our recent purchase of an overhead scanner was made possible by generous donations from the public. THANK YOU!
