7504 Rock Springs Road, Penryn
In 1864, Welsh immigrant Griffith Griffith opened a granite quarry near Penryn. Now a California Historical Landmark listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the quarry site features 3-miles of walking trails. The Griffith Quarry Museum is housed in the stone building that was the quarry office.
